November 13, 2019 – Lab Bioreagents, a biotechnology company developing assay reagents and kits to support drug development, today announced the appointment of Zera Fu as Principle Scientist to protein team. She brings Lab Bioreagents more than 10 years experiences in protein research.

“We are delighted to welcome Zera to the protein team at this important time for Lab Bioreagents as we prepare to expand our protein service next year,” said David Toil, Ph.D., Chief Executive Officer of Lab Bioreagents. “Zera is an accomplished protein scientist with vastly relevant experience in protein conjugation, purification, and characterization.

“Lab Bioreagents is taking a rigorous, systematic, unbiased standards in providing high quality of reagents for the bioassays, thereby increasing the assay performance,” said Dr Fu. “I look forward to working in the team and converting the promising ideas into practices in 2020”.

Before joining Lab Bioreagents, Zera most recently served as leader of protein purification team at GSK, where she oversees the purification of protein therapeutics. Prior to GSK, she spent five years as Principle Scientist in Lilly, where she supports the R&D of protein therapeutics. Dr. Fu received her Ph.D. in molecular biology from Princeton University and her undergraduate degree in biochemistry from China Pharmaceutical University.
